Syncro ("the app") is a workforce attendance application provided by Vi Exports India Private Limited ("we", "us", "the Company") for use by its employees and authorised staff. This policy explains what information the app collects, why, and how it is handled. The app is intended for Company staff only and requires a login issued by the Company.

Information we collect

Data	Why we collect it
Precise location (GPS)	To verify that attendance punches and field-visit check-ins are made at the assigned site (geofence), captured only at the moment you punch or check in/out.
Camera / photos (selfie)	A photo taken at punch in/out to verify the identity of the person marking attendance.
Account & profile details	Name, employee code, and work contact details provided by your employer, used to maintain your attendance, leave and field-visit records.
Device & notification token	A push-notification token and basic device identifier, used to deliver approval and attendance notifications.

How we use your information

• Record and verify attendance, breaks, leave, regularisation and field visits.
• Route approvals to the appropriate manager and send related notifications.
• Maintain workforce records for payroll, compliance and operational purposes.

How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. Data collected in the app belongs to and is accessible by Vi Exports India Private Limited as your employer. We use a small number of service providers strictly to operate the app:

• Google Firebase Cloud Messaging — to deliver push notifications.
• Our hosting provider — to run the secure server that stores your records.

Data security & retention

• All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
• Access is restricted by role-based permissions; employees see only their own records.
• Records are retained for the duration of your employment and for any period required by law, after which they are deleted or anonymised.

Permissions

• Camera — only to capture the punch-in/out selfie. No photos are taken in the background.
• Location — only while you are using the app to punch or log a visit. The app does not track your location in the background.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us or your HR administrator. As this is a Company-issued app, some records must be retained to meet employment and legal obligations.

Children

The app is intended for adult employees and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by your employer.
